The Australia Shakuhachi Society Newsletter is published quarterly. Its purpose is to:

• Offer a broad range of content, including interviews, articles, reviews, and flutes and other items offered for sale by members


• Report on events happening around Australia, and overseas


• Promote a deeper sense of integration of the Australian shakuhachi community with communities in Japan, and elsewhere in the world
